The Manor Players of Sunbury have been established in Sunbury for over 60 years and were one of the founder societies to benefit from the setting up of the "Riverside Arts Centre."

We regularly meet there at around 8.00 p.m. on Tuesday evenings throughout the year (except for the month of August) and on Thursday evenings during rehearsals.

We welcome new talent, both for acting on stage and for technical roles backstage and behind the scenes, front of house duties, and to assist with the administration. There is a full and varied programme arranged with readings of plays and auditions which take place to decide our future productions. We produce three plays a year, ranging from Classic Theatre to Comedies, with an occasional Revue and a Pantomime produced every other year. We also hold various social events throughout the year. If you are interested in joining, or would like to be added to The Manor Players mailing list, why not visit our website, www.manorplayers.org and click on our contact us page, where you can download an application form. We would encourage you to come along to one of our meetings and see what we are all about. You will receive a warm welcome

Riverside Youth Theatre is a community based youth theatre for 12-18 year olds. We mount two major productions a year in December and May - productions which range from Musicals, One Act Plays, Revues to Shakespeare.  There is also the chance to enter the local Drama Festivals, where we have had much success.

If you are not interested in acting, singing or dancing then why not join our Technical Team.  You will be trained by experts to light, or create the sound, for any sort of production.  It helps if you like climbing ladders!  Our young technical team operate the lighting and sound boards for our production - so they are one of the most vital parts of the team.

You do not have to audition to join, but there is a waiting list.  If you are interested then please ring our membership secretary on 020 8890 7789

Chairman  Cathy Dunn

 Why not join us?

Shepperton Players meet twice a week at the Riverside Arts Centre. We mount four major productions each year and also submit entries to local drama festivals. We often include a Shakespeare play in our programme and a pantomime in alternate years. New members are always welcome, whether your interests are behind the footlights or behind the scenes. We currently have around 60 members of all ages and unlike some groups, we try to cast newcomers as soon as possible and involve everyone in productions. You won’t end up waiting forever to have a go, become a star or just make friends. Our facilities are second to none and our membership fee is possibly the lowest around. If you would like to know more, come along to Riverside Arts Centre any Monday or Thursday evening after 8pm or contact Emma Dow  07958 523 733
